The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Peli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Cisco in the 54th minute of play forced Palmas FC's goalkeeper Miguel Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Adan Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
