Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilfredo Firmo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Wilfredo Firmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Wilfredo Firmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmas FC's Miguel Jaunti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Wilfredo Firmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Billinghurst's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Firmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Jaunti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Firmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Jaunti having to interfere. When Billinghurst's Wilfredo Firmo in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmas FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Firmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Jaunti was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Miguel Jaunti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Boniel in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Placido Boniel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Jaunti. Placido Boniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Wilfredo Firmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Placido Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Billinghurst booed when Palmas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Jaunti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Wilfredo Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adan Teyo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Palmas FC's Manuel Fonso got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th play minute Placido Boniel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miguel Jaunti. 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Billinghurst's Placido Boniel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Jaunti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gogo Obano's late challenge caught a Billinghurst's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Obano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Palmas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Obano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Firmo in the 68th minute of play forced Palmas FC's goalkeeper Miguel Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Placido Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Billinghurst's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Boniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Palmas FC's Miguel Jaunti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Firmo in the 94th minute of play. Billinghurst's Wilfredo Firmo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Palmas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Billinghurst were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
