Octavio Magdaleno started the match with the kick off. Verna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cipolletti the free kick. Enrique Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Gavino Loco hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Guillermo Francesco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cipolletti's Patricio Piñero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Patricio Piñero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipolletti's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Piñero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Francesco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Magdaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Guillermo Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Corderun in the 25th minute of play. Ezequiel Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Francesco having to interfere. Ezequiel Corderun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Piñero in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 59th minute of the match, Patricio Piñero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guillermo Francesco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patricio Piñero scored 0-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Francesco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Piñero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Francesco came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Piñero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 69th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Patricio Piñero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verna's Guillermo Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Piñero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Octavio Magdaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Piñero in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Francesco saved Verna from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Leon Rojelio notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Cipolletti's Clodoveo Jaizki. Clodoveo Jaizki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Verna's Guillermo Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Piñero in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Verna defense, Ezequiel Corderun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Francesco. The Verna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Francesco should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Cipolletti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Verna throughout the match.
