Spectators: 6964 (Terracing: 5330, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antonio Orkatz kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Antonio Orkatz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Silverio Larra to make any attempt to save it. In the 11thth minute of the game Alonzo Gonzalez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rucanelo's Domingo Txatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Gonzalez in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Txatxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 played minutes Rucanelo got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Silban. After 24 minutes of play, Chilecito's Alonzo Gonzalez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Txatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chilecito's Alonzo Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Chilecito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. In the 35thth minute of the game Alonzo Gonzalez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rucanelo's Domingo Txatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Carlos Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rucanelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Antonio Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rucanelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Orkatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Larra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonzo Gonzalez to strike the kick off in the second half. Silverio Larra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Mark went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Rucanelo's Carlos Mark got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Chilecito defense, Juan Leoiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Larra. The Chilecito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Larra should have stopped the shot. If Alonzo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Rucanelo got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Daunte. A collision led to Chilecito getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Froilan Oliverios hit a great ball. Antonio Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Rucanelo got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Mark. Carlos Mark scored 4-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Larra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Juan Leoiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alonzo Gonzalez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Domingo Txatxu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Silverio Larra came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Rucanelo's Antonio Orkatz. But to his dismay, Antonio Orkatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Many of Chilecito's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chilecito may have spent more time on the ball, but Rucanelo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
