Conrado Dolcet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Salvador Beremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilecito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Beremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when João Pedro Reis sped through Chilecito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silverio Larra. After a rather tough play, L.A.M.'s Nicanor Marcones got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nicanor Marcones kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. João Pedro Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, João Pedro Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. L.A.M.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chilecito the free kick. After 20 played minutes L.A.M. got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Reis. Alonzo Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Roman Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, João Pedro Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Larra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Nicanor Marcones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Gonzalez in the 37th minute of play forced L.A.M.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Nicanor Marcones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The L.A.M. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Silverio Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Tom Ström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Celipe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

João Pedro Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Silverio Larra made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, João Pedro Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silverio Larra. Chilecito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Nicanor Marcones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 67 minutes on the clock, Conrado Dolcet commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. L.A.M.'s Elias Cordaryal got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Marcones in the 70th minute of play forced Chilecito's goalkeeper Silverio Larra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Reis couldn't finish the play. Nicanor Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Silverio Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicanor Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Marcones in the 83rd minute of play forced Chilecito's goalkeeper Silverio Larra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, João Pedro Reis notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Chilecito's Silverio Larra. Silverio Larra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, João Pedro Reis had to leave the field with a concussion. When Salvador Beremundo fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chilecito's protests and gave Salvador Beremundo a yellow card for diving instead. L.A.M. made a substitution. Benigno Pancho replaced João Pedro Reis. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chilecito! In the 95th minute Dante Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Marcones in the 96th minute of play. Silverio Larra made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Benigno Pancho sent off a good shot on target. 99 minutes into the match, Chilecito's goalkeeper Silverio Larra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Ederono. A hard shot 100 in the game by Benigno Pancho from a close distance when the talented Silverio Larra managed to make a qualified save. Chilecito's players were relieved. L.A.M. played a much better game than Chilecito and deserved their victory. The Chilecito players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
