After 11 played minutes, Verón AFC's Cosme Francis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejo Montae came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Verón AFC reached it. Federico Tabb hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Marcelino Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Guillelme having to interfere. Rodeo's Rogelio Caradaro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Verón AFC's Gaston Guillelme got control of the ball when Marcelino Osoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Verón AFC's Stig Runeberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Montae was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was beautiful to see Rodeo's Artemio Gau in action when he in the 33rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 37th minute Edgardo Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Rogelio Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Guillelme having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Rodeo's Gaston Guillelme threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogelio Caradaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Caradaro was the one to do the kick off. Stig Runeberg charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Runeberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Rodeo. During the 85th minute of the match Stig Runeberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stig Runeberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Stig Runeberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gaston Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Gaston Guillelme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Claus went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Rodeo were the better team. Rodeo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
