Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramiro Mikelar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 25 minutes into the game, Bernardino Quexal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Rana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pueyrredón the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Rana's Bernardino Quexal got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Guaberto Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Kalmer Pulver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Mikelar having to interfere. During the 33rd minute of the match Bernardino Quexal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardino Quexal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, El Rana's Bernardino Quexal got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Pueyrredón's Alfredo Tartalo got a free kick in the 37th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Benedicto Arce suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The audience was convinced that Fidel Pere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Mikelar was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 played minutes Pueyrredón got a freekick which was hit by Cezar Hârțan. 67 minutes into the match, El Rana's Uriel Pelayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Francis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fidel Pere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredo Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the El Rana defense, Alfredo Tartalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Mikelar. The El Rana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Mikelar should have stopped the shot. El Rana's Ramiro Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Pere in the 81st minute of play. Alfredo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Mikelar having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Fidel Pere made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Mikelar. El Rana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. If Alfredo Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Pere in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Mikelar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pueyrredón had played much better football throughout.
