The referee ignored Club Atletico Boquita's protests and gave Gervasio Gar a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Boquita! Ramon Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Gora in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Pere in the 33rd minute of play forced Generis F.C.'s goalkeeper Placido Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Pere took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Efraim. Placido Efraim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Club Atletico Boquita's Elvio Tome got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Fonso was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, David Fonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Generis F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Generis F.C.'s Placido Efraim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Generis F.C. from getting a goal against them. Ermegildo Pere struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Placido Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Boquita. Elvio Tome showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. David Fonso struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ramon Cordera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Generis F.C.. In the 88th minute, Leonel Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Gora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Cordera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Generis F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
