Spectators: 7010 (Terracing: 5365, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 0) Cesar Manny started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Horacio Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Emilio Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Fidensio might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Jacindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Fidensio ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesar Manny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Jacindo. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Nemesio Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Madness got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Marino. Damaso Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Fabricio Ostadar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Txindoki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Madness's Nemesio Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Terciero in the 27th minute of play. Jonathan Honesto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. If Isaias Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Luis Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Gamus during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Escalante FC's Luis Gamus got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Mendez was the one to do the kick off. Isaias Urtzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Nemesio Txindoki made a huge save. In the 55th minute Emilio Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Jacindo having to interfere. Emilio Fidensio struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Igor Jacindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madness. Nemesio Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Mendez in the 65th minute of play. Igor Jacindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Fidensio in the 67th minute of play. Emilio Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Jacindo having to interfere. Isaias Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Txindoki having to interfere. Isaias Urtzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Emilio Fidensio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruben Marino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Igor Jacindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madness. In the 84th minute, Emilio Fidensio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Jacindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some careless play in the Escalante FC defense, Emilio Fidensio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Jacindo. The Escalante FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Jacindo should have stopped the shot. Madness's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
