After 3 minutes, Martin Ezkerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Platense and the Equites Apocalypsis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Ezkerra kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Cristobal Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Ismael Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Equites Apocalypsis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Silvino couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Equites Apocalypsis's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ezkerra came free, but Benedicto Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Galindo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Cristobal Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Equites Apocalypsis's Benedicto Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ezkerra in the 15th minute of play. Benedicto Galindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Sancho in the 17th minute. Fabricio Playo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Equites Apocalypsis's Benedicto Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ezkerra in the 29th minute of play. Benedicto Galindo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Cristobal Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Martin Ezkerra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benedicto Galindo, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cristobal Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Benedicto Galindo to make any attempt to save it. In the 42nd minute, Platense's Martin Ezkerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Silvino in the 45th minute of play forced Platense's goalkeeper Enzo Weissmuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Sancho was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Martin Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Equites Apocalypsis's Etor Naveda got a free kick in the 55th minute. Fabricio Playo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Harkaitz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Aaron Aimar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Platense and the Equites Apocalypsis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aaron Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Benedicto Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Sancho in the 69th minute of play. Equites Apocalypsis were furious when Etor Naveda was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Benedicto Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Playo in the 75th minute of play. Enzo Weissmuller yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. In the 96th minute Martin Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Platense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
