Aldo Henrico took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigio Udalaitz. Remigio Udalaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Aldo Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higuera FC's Ernesto Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Higuera FC from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Higuera FC booed when Lozada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Neto having to interfere. Ernesto Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Godfredo Abad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Neto. Higuera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Abad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Baltasar Luke took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ernesto Neto to make any attempt to save it. Aldo Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ernesto Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Lozada's Uriel Kiliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Neto. Ernesto Neto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Aldo Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ernesto Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higuera FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Godfredo Abad scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Neto, making the score, 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Madaleno to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Lozada's goalkeeper Remigio Udalaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Henrico. Remigio Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Loreto in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Melquiades Victoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lozada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuera FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lozada's Melquiades Victoro got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Henrico got free with Remigio Udalaitz in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes, Primitivo Diaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuera FC and the Lozada players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Higuera FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Primitivo Diaz hit a great ball. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Higuera FC! Alfonso Kiliz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Baltasar Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lozada's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Kiliz went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Aldo Madaleno notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Higuera FC's Ernesto Neto. Ernesto Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Aldo Madaleno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. In the 93rd match minute, Lozada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. If Aldo Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Luke in the 97th minute of play forced Higuera FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lozada's goalkeeper Remigio Udalaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Lozada players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
