With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Gombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anacleto Llanos fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosales FC's protests and gave Anacleto Llanos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cosquin FC booed when Rosales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cosquin FC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Cosquin FC's Everardo Nazario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 29 minutes, Benicio Txomin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Txomin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, Cosquin FC's Everardo Nazario made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Gombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes in the game, Everardo Nazario dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Roberto Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Nazario in the 45th minute of play. Ubaldo Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Gombal having to interfere. The Rosales FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cosquin FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Arce to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Cosquin FC's Everardo Nazario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Roberto Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Ezkerra in the 54th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Luis Ezkerra took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Roberto Gombal to make any attempt to save it. Roberto Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Rosales FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alberto Chesus hit a great ball. Silvio Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Alberto Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosquin FC's Cornelio Iban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Arce in the 67th minute of play. When Cosquin FC's Everardo Nazario in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosales FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute, Osvaldo Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Nazario in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Gombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Everardo Nazario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Roberto Gombal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cosquin FC's Everardo Nazario in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosales FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Everardo Nazario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Gombal. That made the score 0-7 in the 93 minute of play. The Cosquin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cosquin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
