Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramiro Guillem kicked off to start the match. Justino Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Bautista in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Venancio Bautista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Mon came out of the goal and Venancio Bautista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Berdaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Justino Mon made a huge save. Hermengildo Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Mon having to interfere. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Jorrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Gizon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Justino Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosario Central's Gustave Petris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Jerico in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Hermengildo Gizon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Justino Mon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Ramiro Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Biörnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Sergio Jorrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Venancio Bautista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Justino Mon, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Gizon got free with Justino Mon in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sergio Jorrin hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Zeledon Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Petris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermengildo Gizon struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Justino Mon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Berdaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Venancio Bautista notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Candelaria's Justino Mon. Justino Mon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Venancio Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Mon having to interfere. Justino Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Venancio Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Ernesto Tirso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Candelaria's Severo Martxelin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Berdaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Mon was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Venancio Bautista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Mon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Eusebio Cordairo got a free kick in the 86th minute. Domingos Lluciano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Tadeo Berdaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Sergio Jorrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Jerico made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 96thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gustave Petris would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rosario Central fully deserved thier win.
