Efrain Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Hegoi having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sublime's Wilfredo Hegoi threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Efrain Garci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Efrain Garci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilfredo Hegoi. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Wilfredo Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes, Tamangueyú AFC's Isidro Viator shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Ponce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tamangueyú AFC reached it. Tamangueyú AFC's Wilfredo Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Garci in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Tamangueyú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarmo Arus to maneuver through the defense. Atilano Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Isidro Viator shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteve Ponce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Efrain Garci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sublime fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Jonas Dalkvist made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Ponce. Sublime's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Efrain Garci struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Wilfredo Hegoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sublime. Esteve Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Rozarius in the 38th minute of the match. Sublime's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Tome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sublime players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tamangueyú AFC were winning 2-3.

In the 53rd minute, Sublime's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonas Dalkvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 56th minute of the match, Arturo Rozarius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Esteve Ponce saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Arturo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Esteve Ponce managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Tamangueyú AFC's Jonas Dalkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 71 in the game by Jonas Dalkvist from a close distance when the talented Esteve Ponce managed to make a qualified save. Sublime's players were relieved. Jonas Dalkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Esteve Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sublime supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tamangueyú AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tamangueyú AFC.
