The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Saturnino Romano fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapanay AFC's protests and gave Saturnino Romano a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chapanay AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Ernesto Intxixu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Chapanay AFC's Augusto Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Gonçalves in the 8th minute of play. Raimundo Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10thth minute of the game Alex Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chapanay AFC's Augusto Loco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Delmiro Gipuzkoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luisito Vellito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chapanay AFC's Alfonso Egoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Alex Gonçalves sped through Chapanay AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Loco. After 23 played minutes Alfonso Egoitz rounded dragon FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After some careless play in the dragon FC defense, Alexander Sammartano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Vellito. The dragon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Vellito should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Gonçalves in the 36th minute of play forced Chapanay AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Egoitz in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Aristides Chico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisito Vellito was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Gonçalves made a kick off. Alexander Sammartano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, dragon FC's Ivan Mergildo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Alex Gonçalves hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. dragon FC's Luisito Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Sammartano in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Alfonso Egoitz notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of dragon FC's Luisito Vellito. Luisito Vellito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chapanay AFC's Augusto Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Gonçalves in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match dragon FC got a corner. Chapanay AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernesto Intxixu ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Alex Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the dragon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. dragon FC's Luisito Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Egoitz in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chapanay AFC had played much better football throughout.
