Fabricio Ihazintu started the match with the kick off. Dalmacio Ramone charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Ramone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CHICHIS CLUB getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Dalmacio Ramone hit a great ball. CHICHIS CLUB's Modesto Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Ihazintu in the 4th minute of play. Inocencio Jurdan scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Urtun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Estudiantes LP defense, Paolo Fortun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Urtun. The Estudiantes LP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Urtun should have stopped the shot. Blas Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Estudiantes LP getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Daniel Evangelista hit a great ball. Blas Urtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nemesio Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Blas Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Fortun in the 27th minute of the match. If Aristides Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Ihazintu in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Fabricio Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes LP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes, Inocencio Jurdan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHICHIS CLUB and the Estudiantes LP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Inocencio Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Romulo Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Clementi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes LP's Romulo Bernaldo got a free kick in the 51st minute. CHICHIS CLUB's Aristides Clementi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inocencio Jurdan was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to CHICHIS CLUB getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Inocencio Jurdan hit a great ball. Melquiades Orlondo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Estudiantes LP's Blas Urtun got control of the ball when Dalmacio Ramone tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Estudiantes LP defense, Dalmacio Ramone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Urtun. The Estudiantes LP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Urtun should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, CHICHIS CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Ihazintu came free, but Modesto Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elias Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Haimar having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Fabricio Ihazintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Santikurtz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The CHICHIS CLUB players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
