The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidar Söderberg got free with Humberto Abecia in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vidar Söderberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Abecia having to make a save. Cayetano Basajaun hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Vidar Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Abecia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vidar Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Aicuña's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Söderberg came free, but Humberto Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hendrik-Jan Sluis couldn't finish the play. 3-0 became the score in the 81st minute when Vidar Söderberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Antonio Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the LEPRA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Rivero couldn't finish the play. Humberto Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Söderberg in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Victorio Tirso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Abajas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 90th minute, Andres Baumer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felix Abajas. The goal made the score 3-1.
