Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benjamin Millano made the kick off which started today's match. Benjamin Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Humberto Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Abecia came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by El Terraplen's Efrain Jaume. But to his dismay, Efrain Jaume quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Aicuña's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Millano came free, but Humberto Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aicuña's zone, Benjamin Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Abecia came out of the goal and Benjamin Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benjamin Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Jaume blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Abecia having to make a save. 40 minutes into the game, Benjamin Millano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Humberto Abecia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Aicuña's Rafael Abalos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rosendo Benitez. That made the score 1-2 after 45 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Abalos was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Rafael Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Darío Daguerressar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Terraplen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aicuña the free kick. A collision led to El Terraplen getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Darío Daguerressar hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Celedonio Vistruario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victorio Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Millano in the 68th minute of play forced Aicuña's goalkeeper Humberto Abecia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Aicuña's Andres Baumer got a free kick in the 69th minute. Humberto Abecia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Millano in the 70th minute. Benjamin Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Efrain Jaume came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the El Terraplen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Jaume couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Aicuña's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Millano came free, but Humberto Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Millano ran back to his position shaking his head. Rosendo Benitez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Tirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. El Terraplen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
