An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Santana in the 5th minute of play forced LEPRA F.C's goalkeeper Felix Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Millano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Abajas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Rosendo Benitez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Söderberg in the 12th minute of the match. Benjamin Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik-Jan Sluis in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, El Terraplen's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Söderberg came free, but Rosendo Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Hendrik-Jan Sluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Terraplen's zone, Hendrik-Jan Sluis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Benitez came out of the goal and Hendrik-Jan Sluis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vidar Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to El Terraplen getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. David Firman hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Hendrik-Jan Sluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Terraplen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reynaldo Santana in the 39th minute. The corner ended in Reynaldo Santana almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LEPRA F.C's Felix Abajas did a great save. Rosendo Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Söderberg in the 44th minute of play. Vidar Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vidar Söderberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vidar Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rosendo Benitez made a huge save. After having played for 55 minutes, Hendrik-Jan Sluis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEPRA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hendrik-Jan Sluis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Antonio Rivero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rosendo Benitez. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 71st minute, Darío Daguerressar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 73 minutes on the clock, Ricardinho Jacinto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Terraplen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, LEPRA F.C's Rogelio Santo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rosendo Benitez. The El Terraplen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LEPRA F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
