German Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gualterio Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sampdoria's Gualterio Marcones threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from German Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ruben Fe hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sampdoria's Celedonio Claude got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Celedonio Claude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Marcones. Olievia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Claude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When German Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sampdoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Sancho couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Marcones made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when German Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When Pablo Cresenciano fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olievia FC's protests and gave Pablo Cresenciano a yellow card for diving instead. Pablo Cresenciano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If German Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Marcones was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Romano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Gualterio Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Sancho in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Olievia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Joseph to maneuver through the defense. German Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gualterio Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Marcones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sampdoria.

In the 52nd minute Celedonio Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sampdoria were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Olievia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonides Oxel took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sampdoria's corner Leonides Oxel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gualterio Marcones quite easily take care of the ball. In the 55th match minute, Sampdoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Qing to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes, Antonio Joseph mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olievia FC and the Sampdoria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that German Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Marcones was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Godfredo Edorta hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Sancho in the 91st minute of play forced Olievia FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Olievia FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Pablo Cresenciano hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Sampdoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Nicholas to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sampdoria fully deserved thier win.
