But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Polo couldn't finish the play. If Maximino Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Gonsalvo to strike the kick off in the second half. Isaac Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Gonsalvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes Deheza got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Polo. Abel Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Valiente in the 56th minute of play. With his leg Abel Milian managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Deheza's Maximino Polo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 59 minutes into the match, Deheza's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Meder came free, but Isaac Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Milian having to interfere. Cleto Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
