Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Viegas took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Zanjitas booed when La Academia Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Orzaize didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Orzaize in the 7th minute of play forced Zanjitas's goalkeeper Edgard Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Orzaize, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of La Academia Racing Club booed when Zanjitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Paskal charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Paskal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that José Viegas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Etxekopar was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Miguel Etxekopar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, José Viegas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Etxekopar. José Viegas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. José Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Miguel Etxekopar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Caitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Toro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Zacarias Orzaize who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zanjitas's Edgard Toro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When José Viegas came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Zanjitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Viegas couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Caitano to strike the kick off in the second half. Basilio Mirande charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Mirande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabian Kauldi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, La Academia Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when José Viegas came free, but Miguel Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Abeijon charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Abeijon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Academia Racing Club's Baltasar Abeijon got a free kick in the 67th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Patricio Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zanjitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Fernendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Academia Racing Club's Zacarias Orzaize got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zanjitas's zone, Valentin Caitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Toro came out of the goal and Valentin Caitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Orzaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, José Viegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Etxekopar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Zacarias Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Toro having to interfere. When Zanjitas's José Viegas in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Academia Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the match, José Viegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Etxekopar. La Academia Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Viegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
