Iguassu FC's Cornelio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Urbasa in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, BocA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Garcia came free, but Eriberto Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Iguassu FC's Epifanio Gaxan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A hard shot 43 in the game by Lino Chayo from a close distance when the talented Cornelio Gartxot managed to make a qualified save. Iguassu FC's players were relieved. After 48 played minutes Iguassu FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Garcia. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The BocA FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when BocA FC's Lino Chayo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
