Spectators: 7099 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 10) Paikín's Saul Fix started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Esteban Lauro came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Paikín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Lauro couldn't finish the play. Albano Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Casimiro Cresconio fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paikín's protests and gave Casimiro Cresconio a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Paikín got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Cresconio. The supporters of Red Army United booed when Paikín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Paikín's goalkeeper Victoriano Gau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Batista. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Avellaneda got free with Victoriano Gau in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Marcos Arotza made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Gau. Paikín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Serafin Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Victoriano Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Army United's Marcos Arotza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Gau. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. Aldo Bermudez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Fix's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Avellaneda to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Red Army United booed when Paikín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Marcos Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 62 in the game by Saul Fix from a close distance when the talented Aldo Bermudez managed to make a qualified save. Red Army United's players were relieved. 65 minutes into the game, Marciano Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Victoriano Gau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldo Bermudez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Iban in the 71st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Paikín's Saul Fix tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paikín's Juan Aballe was substituted for Silvio Mero. Horia Neacsu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Tomás Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Gau having to interfere. Aldo Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Aballe in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red Army United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paikín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
