Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitmer's Venancio Santio got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Isidoro Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Louis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Augusto Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Santio in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Aureliano Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitmer's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Louis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aureliano Louis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Vitmer's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 24 minutes into the match, Aureliano Louis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Augusto Neto, 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Venancio Santio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Atletico River Plate's Augusto Neto. Augusto Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Nastasio having to interfere. Vitmer's Aureliano Louis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Vitmer booed when Club Atletico River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Venancio Santio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Aureliano Louis came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Vitmer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Louis couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Rutenio was the one to do the kick off. Club Atletico River Plate's Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Santio in the 60th minute of play. Augusto Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Santio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Rosio. In the 65th minute Aureliano Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Vitmer's Venancio Santio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Rutenio in the 68th minute of play forced Vitmer's goalkeeper Alejo Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Vitmer's Aureliano Louis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atletico River Plate. Augusto Neto went to the wrong direction when Amado Galo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Amado Galo sped through Club Atletico River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Neto. 84 minutes into the game, Isidoro Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitmer the free kick. Isidoro Mendiko kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Amado Galo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Augusto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Santio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico River Plate's Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Louis in the 91st minute of play. Venancio Santio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Augusto Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Venancio Santio made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Neto. Club Atletico River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vitmer fully deserved thier win.
