With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 6th minute, Anier Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8thth minute of the game Benjamin Taurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atle Rosario Central's Isaac Teodor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Taurino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Teodor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Mudo FC's Benjamin Taurino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Teodor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mudo FC's zone, Cornelio Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Garin came out of the goal and Cornelio Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cornelio Lano came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Club Atle Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Lano couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Mudo FC defense, Cornelio Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Garin. The Mudo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Garin should have stopped the shot. Club Atle Rosario Central's Isaac Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Taurino in the 33rd minute of play. If Julio Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Cornelio Lano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ulises Garin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Taurino was the one to do the kick off. Club Atle Rosario Central's Aldo Amor got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Cornelio Lano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Mudo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Hernando to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Julio Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mudo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Enaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Benjamin Taurino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mudo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 67 minutes into the match, Benjamin Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaac Teodor. Club Atle Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Melquiades Ixaka struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ulises Garin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atle Rosario Central. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Cornelio Lano sped through Mudo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulises Garin. When Mario Rafe fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mudo FC's protests and gave Mario Rafe a yellow card for diving instead.
