After a defensive mix-up in AFC Agustín's zone, Ismael Mundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Sadurni came out of the goal and Ismael Mundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes Lugüercio FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Mundo. 6 minutes into the match, Filomeno Hanot notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AFC Agustín's Claudio Sadurni. Claudio Sadurni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lugüercio FC's Hernán Boyero got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudio Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Boyero in the 12th minute of the match. AFC Agustín's Claudio Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernán Boyero in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Lugüercio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Herrera came free, but Eliseo Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lugüercio FC's Eliseo Bieito got control of the ball when Cesar Harriet tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21st play minutes Hernán Boyero shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Claudio Sadurni and just under the crossbar into goal. Lucio Virila kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the AFC Agustín defense, Hernán Boyero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Sadurni. The AFC Agustín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Sadurni should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes, Augusto Jerano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Agustín and the Lugüercio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernán Boyero took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Sadurni. Claudio Sadurni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Claudio Sadurni came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Lugüercio FC's Hernán Boyero. But to his dismay, Hernán Boyero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Lugüercio FC's Esteban Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hernán Boyero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernán Boyero to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Cesar Harriet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Agustín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugüercio FC the free kick. A collision led to AFC Agustín getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cesar Harriet hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Ismael Mundo made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Sadurni. AFC Agustín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When Lucio Virila fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Agustín's protests and gave Lucio Virila a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Filomeno Hanot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugüercio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Claudio Sadurni was a little too slow when Hernán Boyero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 66th match minute, Lugüercio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Boyero to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Hernán Boyero took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Claudio Sadurni to make any attempt to save it. Sam Sewell hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lugüercio FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sam Sewell hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Herrera in the 75th minute of play forced Lugüercio FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albino Leheren fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Agustín's protests and gave Albino Leheren a yellow card for diving instead. Albino Leheren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ismael Mundo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudio Sadurni came out and tried to block the shot, but Ismael Mundo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, AFC Agustín's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Boyero came free, but Claudio Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Boyero in the 84th minute of the match. Esteban Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Claudio Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Esteban Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugüercio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Cordara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lugüercio FC's Hernán Boyero got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Sadurni having to interfere. Lugüercio FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
