When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Isaias Isias took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eliseo Bieito to make any attempt to save it. In the 7th minute, Hernán Boyero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugüercio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 10th minute Hernán Boyero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Lugüercio FC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hernán Boyero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Cristal's Justino Salbatore. 1-2. A collision led to Deportivo Cristal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hermengildo Rocio hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Esteban Cordara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Salbatore skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th match minute, Lugüercio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Sewell to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes of play, Lugüercio FC's Filomeno Hanot made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Salbatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deportivo Cristal's Justino Salbatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Cordara in the 29th minute of play. Justino Salbatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernán Boyero's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of Deportivo Cristal booed when Lugüercio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Cordara didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Hanot in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Salbatore saved Deportivo Cristal from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Hernán Boyero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugüercio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernán Boyero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Lugüercio FC's Bonifacio Frasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Salbatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deportivo Cristal's Justino Salbatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernán Boyero in the 39th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Lugüercio FC's Hernán Boyero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justino Salbatore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernán Boyero to make the kick off. Deportivo Cristal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hernán Boyero 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Hernán Boyero kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Lugüercio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Mundo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Hernán Boyero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Salbatore was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Cordara in the 67th minute of play forced Deportivo Cristal's goalkeeper Justino Salbatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Lugüercio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Sewell to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Lugüercio FC's Hernán Boyero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justino Salbatore. Justino Salbatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Justino Salbatore was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Hernán Boyero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hernán Boyero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. A collision led to Deportivo Cristal getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Isaias Isias hit a great ball. In the 93rd of the match, Hernán Boyero tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Justino Salbatore got in the way and made a wonderful save. Damaso Erroman hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Lugüercio FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Cristal.
