Cesar Ermano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cesar Ermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Montae in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aston Birra's Carolo Figueroa got a free kick in the 25th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Vespucio AFC's Marciano Abreu tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mauro Corderall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Frisco having to make a save. Aston Birra's attack was well implemented in the 29th minute, but when Reynaldo Navarro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Reynaldo Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vespucio AFC's Lucas Frisco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Aston Birra's Humberto Iturri got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Aston Birra's Cesar Ermano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Montae in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Paulino Frutos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Ermano. Aston Birra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Frutos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Iturri during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Montae to make the kick off. Cesar Ermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Rafe in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Aston Birra booed when Vespucio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Montae didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Reynaldo Navarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aston Birra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 75 played minutes, Aston Birra's Humberto Iturri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucas Frisco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aston Birra reached it. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Placido Montae put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cesar Ermano. Cesar Ermano came out and tried to block the shot, but Placido Montae slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Placido Montae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Ermano. Aston Birra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Montae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. The Vespucio AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vespucio AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
