After a defensive mix-up in Magdalena's zone, Isidro Llorian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Naelio came out of the goal and Isidro Llorian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Llorian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Domingos Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Opilano scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Federigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Isidro Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Magdalena's Domingos Naelio got control of the ball when Isidro Llorian tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Gerardo Manex recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Domingos Naelio. Gerardo Manex showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. A collision led to Magdalena getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Matias Hernandez hit a great ball. When Isidro Llorian came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pierini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Llorian couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Gerardo Manex fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Domingos Naelio, passed just outside the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
If Matias Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Gerardo Manex shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Federigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Opilano's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Magdalena's Domingos Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Manex in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Pierini's Rafael Federigo got control of the ball when Matias Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Pierini's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Opilano came free, but Rafael Federigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Llorian in the 85th minute of play forced Magdalena's goalkeeper Domingos Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Manex in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Naelio saved Magdalena from getting behind. When Americo Igon fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magdalena's protests and gave Americo Igon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Americo Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Manex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Pere charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Pere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Octavio Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerardo Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isidro Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Pierini players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
