Los Andes FC's Xurdin Oromi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play Los Andes FC's Tomás Roderigo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Iglesia Maradoniana Fulbo booed when Los Andes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Iglesia Maradoniana Fulbo fully deserved thier win.
