But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Bikendi couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederico Goiano made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lucas Fero threw the ball into play from the sideline. MTO Fc's Albano Luken quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Desiderio Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Goiano in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Aaron Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Nuñez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carolo Fraco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, Defensores de Nuñez's Frederico Goiano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But to his dismay, Cristobal Bikendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Desiderio Gartzea had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Frederico Goiano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Desiderio Gartzea came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Nuñez's Frederico Goiano. But to his dismay, Frederico Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Aaron Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Gartzea having to interfere. Zeledon Elixio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Pancho in the 88th minute. Cristobal Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
