In the 15thth minute of the game Abel Ekhi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corazuli's Guaberto Rufo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Guaberto Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Mandiyú's Gavino Telmo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guaberto Rufo. Guaberto Rufo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Abel Ekhi in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guaberto Rufo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abel Ekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guaberto Lalla was the one to do the kick off. Celso Quintun hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Corazuli's Clodoveo Oliverios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Otsoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaberto Rufo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
