But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Bernad couldn't finish the play. Dante Bernad might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Sagrario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Bernad ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dante Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Higinio Sagrario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Urbes in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Los Mercenarios F.C. booed when Jocolí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Burni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio De Santis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Jusepe in the 24th minute of play. Casimiro Jago lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Los Mercenarios F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Antonio De Santis had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Isaac Bernat's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Silverio Urbes struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Higinio Sagrario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Mercenarios F.C.. Silverio Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Higinio Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Silverio Urbes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Higinio Sagrario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Higinio Sagrario came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Mercenarios F.C.'s Silverio Urbes. But to his dismay, Silverio Urbes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Urbes to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Leon Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio De Santis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes Silverio Urbes rounded Jocolí's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. The supporters of Los Mercenarios F.C. booed when Jocolí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Mercenarios F.C.'s Lorenzo Rivero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jocolí. Silverio Urbes struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Higinio Sagrario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Mercenarios F.C.. Higinio Sagrario had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Silverio Urbes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Los Mercenarios F.C.'s Silverio Urbes in the 81st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Higinio Sagrario was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Jocolí through an amazing save. 82 minutes into the match, Jocolí's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Urbes came free, but Higinio Sagrario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Higinio Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
