Tadeo Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Guillermino FC booed when C.A. RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Gipuzkoa fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 8th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. C.A. RIVER PLATE's Salvador Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Egoi in the 12th minute of play. Artemio Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Innocenzio having to interfere. A collision led to C.A. RIVER PLATE getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Téo Britto hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Javier Nayely made a precise shot to the right of Salvador Innocenzio. C.A. RIVER PLATE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Guillermino FC's Artemio Lizer got a free kick in the 25th minute. Salvador Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Gipuzkoa in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Raimundo Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. RIVER PLATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Javier Nayely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Innocenzio. C.A. RIVER PLATE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Nayely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, C.A. RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Egoi came free, but Salvador Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Guillermino FC's Tadeo Egoi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Innocenzio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salvador Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Egoi in the 46th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes C.A. RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Federico Fernendo. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Rico to make the kick off. David Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Rico in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th play minute Tadeo Egoi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Salvador Innocenzio. 0-4. 58 minutes into the game, Raimundo Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. David Sindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Egoi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Salvador Innocenzio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guillermino FC. A collision led to Guillermino FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Elpidio Padro hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, C.A. RIVER PLATE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tadeo Egoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th match minute, C.A. RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Martxot to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Leoncio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Guillermino FC's Silvestre Gipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A. RIVER PLATE's Salvador Innocenzio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save C.A. RIVER PLATE from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Egoi took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Innocenzio. Salvador Innocenzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. The Guillermino FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guillermino FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
