In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Raimundo da Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodolfo Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo da Costa having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Honorato Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes of play, Pueyrredón's Lisandro Lleir made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Carlomagno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augusto Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Norino in the 25th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Rodolfo Telesforo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pueyrredón's Raimundo da Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
