At first the shot seemed to be simple for JP FC's Enrique Tabby to catch but Ovidio Calvet was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Ramiro Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Nuxila in the 7th minute of the match. Gilberto Oroitz's late challenge caught a JP FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Garuapé AFC's Gilberto Oroitz got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ramiro Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Maxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JP FC's Lorenzo Gervaso got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Maxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Garuapé AFC defense, Lorenzo Gervaso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Sotil. The Garuapé AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Sotil should have stopped the shot. After having played for 32 minutes, Lorenzo Gervaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JP FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Norberto Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramiro Sotil was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Faustino Nuxila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Nuxila really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 43rd minute, Lorenzo Gervaso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Sotil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
