Spectators: 6639 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alonzo Esquipula started the match with the kick off. INDEPENDIENTE FC's Hipolito Ellande got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basilio Alvarez was a little too slow when Hipolito Ellande got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Orlando Egun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Cordaryal in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Norberto Fidensio made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Egun. INDEPENDIENTE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Norberto Fidensio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Egun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Turungun FC's Basilio Alvarez got control of the ball when Ildephonso Tene tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basilio Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildephonso Tene in the 28th minute. Hipolito Ellande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Damaso Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildephonso Tene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Alvarez was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Hipolito Ellande capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hipolito Ellande really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 44 minutes in the game, Ildephonso Tene fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Basilio Alvarez having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

A nice corner shot did that Rafael Berdoi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basilio Alvarez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute, one of Turungun FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Turungun FC. INDEPENDIENTE FC's Ubaldo Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildephonso Tene scored 4-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Alvarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hipolito Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Ildephonso Tene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Basualdo in the 70th minute of play. Ildephonso Tene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ildephonso Tene scored 5-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Alvarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basilio Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildephonso Tene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Fidensio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Orlando Egun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Esquipula in the 83rd minute of the match. Hipolito Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Basilio Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Ildephonso Tene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildephonso Tene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Berdaitz got free with Orlando Egun in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Marcial Cordaryal could shoot a difficult shot in the 99th minute, which Orlando Egun however easily saved by the left post. INDEPENDIENTE FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
