The referee ignored Jorge Newbery de Junín's protests and gave Everardo Savion a yellow card for diving instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Oier to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Medio Pelo's Alfonso Oier made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Orlo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pascual Quiroga hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Medio Pelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Medio Pelo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
