Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guillermo Ferman started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Emiliano Brais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Guillermo Ferman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Odol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Natalio Pes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Apotemia F.C.'s zone, Hector Pacorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Odol came out of the goal and Hector Pacorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionel Cristescu's late challenge caught a Cafayete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionel Cristescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Cafayete's Guillermo Ferman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albino Odol. Albino Odol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Romulo Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Odol was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Guillermo Ferman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guillermo Ferman really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. If Romulo Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Quintin made a kick off. If Vladimiro Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vladimiro Weterio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Apotemia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Weterio couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Merexildo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Quintin in the 70th minute of play forced Cafayete's goalkeeper Freddy Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Apotemia F.C. defense, Guillermo Ferman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Odol. The Apotemia F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Odol should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Albino Odol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Pacorro scored 6-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Odol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Cafayete's Aquilino Marko got a free kick in the 84th minute. Romulo Quintin might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Tome. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Quintin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Guillermo Ferman came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cafayete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Ferman couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Cafayete players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
