After 4 played minutes Bradford City got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Eskuin. In the 11th minute, Raí Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Merexildo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Silvio Galtero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lapachito's Hugo Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Eskuin in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Andres Herensuge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugo Gatti. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lapachito's zone, Juan Horado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Gatti came out of the goal and Juan Horado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Gatti made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Juan Horado sent off a good shot on target. Lapachito's Hugo Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Horado in the 40th minute of play. Bradford City's Venancio Domeka suffered a concussion after 41 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Lapachito's Raí Pirani got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Andres Herensuge tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Gatti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hugo Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Eskuin in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Romeo Silvino made the kick off in the second half. The Bradford City fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Bradford City's Romeo Silvino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Danilo Merexildo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Checa. That made the score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Bradford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Jonas Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Lapachito's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Herensuge came free, but Hugo Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Silvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Bradford City's Carolo Che nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Gatti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Danilo Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcelo Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lapachito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
