Maximiliano Sindo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Domingos Mano made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Raí Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Astigar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14thth minute of the game Danilo Merexildo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cochequingam's Domingos Mano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Astigar in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raí Pirani in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingos Mano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 19 minutes into the game, Norberto Maiorga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cochequingam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapachito the free kick. After 19 played minutes Cochequingam got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Maiorga. The supporters of Lapachito booed when Cochequingam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Maiorga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Cochequingam:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lapachito:s goal. In the 34th minute Bartolo Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Lertxun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gatti having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Lapachito's Danilo Merexildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Mano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Lapachito getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ricardo Egoitz hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Merexildo to make the kick off. Alexander Kjørstad made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Silvio Galtero immediately put the ball in play. If Nereo Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lapachito's zone, Bartolo Lertxun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Gatti came out of the goal and Bartolo Lertxun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolo Lertxun struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Hugo Gatti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochequingam. Alexander Kjørstad kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cochequingam defense, Danilo Merexildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Mano. The Cochequingam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Mano should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Cochequingam's Nereo Jax got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Domingos Mano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes Cochequingam got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Nafarroa. 80 minutes into the match, Lapachito's Jonas Boniel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cochequingam's Domingos Mano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Merexildo in the 81st minute of play. After 83 played minutes, Cochequingam's Nicanor Nafarroa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Gatti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cochequingam reached it. Domingos Mano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Danilo Merexildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingos Mano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 91st minute Ricardo Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Lapachito's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nereo Jax fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lapachito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
