In the 21st minute Rolando Schiavi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nacho Tassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xeneize's goalkeeper Adriana Resto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nacho Tassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes of play, FC Maradona's Nacho Tassi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriana Resto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriana Resto made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Nacho Tassi sent off a good shot on target. Adriana Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Di Mario in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Di Mario made a kick off. Adriana Resto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Di Mario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriana Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Di Mario in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Di Mario in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriana Resto saved Xeneize from getting behind. After 59 minutes of play, FC Maradona's Nacho Tassi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriana Resto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriana Resto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Di Mario's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Ciro Di Mario succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. After taking down the ball on FC Maradona's corner Saul Lekubegi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adriana Resto quite easily take care of the ball. After 74 played minutes FC Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Bocklund. In the 79th minute, Ciro Di Mario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maradona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Gualterio Aznaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Narciso Fidensio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Maradona's Lennart Bocklund got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Nacho Tassi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Adriana Resto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nacho Tassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Maradona fully deserved thier win.
