In the 17th match minute, FCC Cordoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Florin to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Rigoberto Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Florin was in a good position and ended up with the ball after FCC Cordoba's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Ovidio Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Gaueko in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Rigoberto Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rigoberto Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FCC Cordoba's Ovidio Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Senio in the 39th minute of play. Leonardo Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. FCC Cordoba's Ovidio Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Senio in the 42nd minute of play. Christian Hunfredo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Senio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Dj Oos Athletic Club defense, Rigoberto Florin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Nastasio. The Dj Oos Athletic Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Nastasio should have stopped the shot. Nemesio Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leonardo Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FCC Cordoba booed when Dj Oos Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Nastasio having to interfere.
