Leonardo Nastasio made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Muno Eureste sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Illan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Senio in the 20th minute of the match. Muno Eurestes short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Leonardo Nastasio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximiliano Illan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Senio in the 24th minute of play. Dj Oos Athletic Club's Leonardo Nastasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Lehen in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Dj Oos Athletic Club's Leonardo Nastasio got control of the ball when Muno Eureste tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Christian Bernad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Illan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Americo Theobald succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Senio to strike the kick off in the second half. Muno Eureste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Muno Eureste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralf Eckhardt kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dj Oos Athletic Club's goalkeeper Leonardo Nastasio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Illan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Senio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Christian Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Dorados 1986's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
