The supporters of Santi Fc booed when Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Ikatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Veronica in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Andes's Julian Ikatz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Bernebe. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Isandro Alacuart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Bernebe having to interfere. Abel Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Larsson having to interfere. Abel Veronica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Bernebe came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes's Julian Ikatz. But to his dismay, Julian Ikatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ildefonso Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rudolf Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Isandro Alacuart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Andes's supporters rose to their feet, but Isandro Alacuart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Bernebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isandro Alacuart got free with Leon Bernebe in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leon Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Urbasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Bernebe having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isandro Alacuart to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Santi Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Mosen to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Teofilo Orzaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Santi Fc got a freekick which was hit by Abel Veronica. When Florencio Fidele fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santi Fc's protests and gave Florencio Fidele a yellow card for diving instead. Florencio Fidele hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Julian Ikatz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Bernebe. Santi Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julian Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Bernebe having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Julian Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Santi Fc defense, Julian Ikatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Bernebe. The Santi Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Bernebe should have stopped the shot. Julian Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Andes had played much better football throughout.
