Gustavo Gaitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Mikolas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rawson FC's zone, Leon Sergi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Frasco came out of the goal and Leon Sergi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uranga's Baldomero Romelio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Mikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Oro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Pastor Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Sergi got free with Efrain Frasco in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Aldo Oro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Mikolas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 41st minute, the referee gave Uranga a penalty. Santo Turi looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Efrain Frasco. In the 45th minute, Pastor Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Oro was the one to do the kick off. Dario Chago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Mikolas having to make a save. Aldo Oro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eugenio Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rawson FC's Aldo Oro, in the 54th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Rawson FC. Aldo Oro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Eugenio Mikolas made a huge save. With a little luck, Uranga's Eugenio Mikolas got control of the ball when Aldo Oro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ciriaco Domiku kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uranga's zone, Aldo Oro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Mikolas came out of the goal and Aldo Oro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
