Marcos Bordat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Delfina FC. After 7 played minutes Barranqueras got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Mogel. 13 minutes into the match, Esteban Elia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Santos. La Delfina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Elia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Esteban Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Santos having to interfere. Anier Santos made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Constantino Ugaitz sent off a good shot on target. When Barranqueras's Esteban Elia in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Delfina FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute, Filiberto Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Bordat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. La Delfina FC's Delmiro Quintun got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Esteban Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Romero hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the La Delfina FC defense, Esteban Elia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Santos. The La Delfina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Santos should have stopped the shot. Apolo Iraitz lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of La Delfina FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Anier Santos, was totally fooled by Barranqueras's Gregorio Felo, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Elia to strike the kick off in the second half. Constantino Ugaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Elia in the 64th minute of play forced La Delfina FC's goalkeeper Anier Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Barranqueras's Romeo Ekaitz got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Gilberto Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Romeo Ekaitz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of La Delfina FC's Anier Santos. Anier Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romeo Ekaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Ekaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Romeo Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Bordat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ruben Ponc. In the 82nd minute Constantino Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Barranqueras's Romeo Ekaitz made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 91 minutes, Delmiro Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Delfina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barranqueras had won after a very even match.
