A hard shot by Silvestre Froylan from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Eleuterio Gorosti's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Lertxun in the 44th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Garrayalde's goalkeeper Eleuterio Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cesar Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. After 61 minutes, Sebastian Guillelmus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardozo and the Club Deportivo Garrayalde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91stth minute of the game Victoriano Lertxun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Garrayalde's Eleuterio Gorosti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Deportivo Garrayalde's Eleuterio Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Tiso in the 93rd minute of play. Club Deportivo Garrayalde were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cardozo's much stronger midfield.
