An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Mark in the 5th minute of play forced Balboa FC's goalkeeper Luciano Erroman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Venceslas in the 6th minute of play. Segundo Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Etxepare having to interfere. The supporters of Balboa FC booed when Talleres de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Balboa FC's Luciano Erroman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Balboa FC from getting a goal against them. Severo Venceslas made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ronaldo Usel. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Luciano Erroman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Balboa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Tabb came free, but Luciano Erroman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Venceslas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Venceslas's late challenge caught a Balboa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Venceslas helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Aritza to strike the kick off in the second half. Segundo Aritza scored 0-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Etxepare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abelardo Mark got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Matias Jurgi. After having played for 64 minutes, Abelardo Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres de Cordoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Abelardo Mark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Erroman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Severo Venceslas was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd minute, Severo Venceslas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Talleres de Cordoba getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Severo Venceslas hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Ronaldo Usel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Balboa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
